Is Fabric Hoardering Grounds For Divorce?

The Texan deployed at the end of January. I have handled it pretty well. Both kiddos are still alive and healthy, the dogs are well fed and happy, and I've learned to take it easy and fund time for my own creative outlet.
My favorite is sewing. I've developed some mad skills and a bit of a fabric addiction. 😂 I think that every spouse handles a deployment different, we all have our quirks. I started buying fabric faster than I can sew. Then I just started buying fabric. I would sew here and there but I got into a creative rut and totally started feeling the weight of being separated from My Person.
Well, I dug myself out and I've been sewing diligently for about a month straight. I have patterns lined up to finish, patterns cut and ready to be sewn, and an endless supply of patterns yet to have fabric picked.
Here's the dilemma....
We finally have a tentative date of return and I'm freaking out a bit. 🤤 It's time to hunker down and get production going. To motivate myself even further, I'm going to start writing about it and posting pictures! 😍 I've been introduced to some amazing fabric and patterns and I've got to start sharing them with other people. Making your own clothes is not that hard!

A Quick Update

Well, it's been awhile but I'm really trying to learn as much as possible about this whole network marketing thing and how to balance it with being a mom and wife. I give myself a B-/C+. My house is a little more messy but PB and the Texan don't seem to be any worse for wear. PB is such a joy to be around so if I do have time to get any form of work done she is distracting me with how fast she is growing. Late Night Rambles

I don't sleep well at night. Maybe it has something to do with me not being able to get up in the morning or maybe I can't get up in the morning because I don't sleep well at night. I usually go to bed with him but I can never seem to go to sleep. I always seem to lay awake listening to him snore. Man, he seems to sleep so soundly and goes to sleep so effortlessly. I laid beside him tonight after I had taken a long hot shower until I knew for sure he was sound asleep. I wanted to write. I wanted a cigarette. I wanted another drink. When I got out of bed I checked on the little one then put on the clothes I was wearing earlier. Honestly, I've been wearing them for a couple days. They're pretty dirty but I just don't care sometimes. I need to do laundry tomorrow. I miss my washer and dryer. It's Called Foreshadowing For A Reason

As I've said before, Johnny and I ended up at my brother's at the same time last year. While chatting with Granny earlier today a story popped into my head I haven't thought of in quite awhile. A little background info, if you will: My brother and Wife have a little boy, Zeke, and this little boy loves his Uncle Johnny. Uncle Johnny has been uncle for way longer than we've been together. I like to joke that I had to marry back into my own family and the only way to do that was marry Johnny. It is quite interesting to go to the bar with my brother because he always introduces Johnny first as his brother, then me as his sister, then Johnny and I as married.
