A Quick Update

Well, it's been awhile but I'm really trying to learn as much as possible about this whole network marketing thing and how to balance it with being a mom and wife. I give myself a B-/C+. My house is a little more messy but PB and the Texan don't seem to be any worse for wear. PB is such a joy to be around so if I do have time to get any form of work done she is distracting me with how fast she is growing.

Yesterday Princess Peanut Butter stood up out of her little chair and took four tiny steps before she sat down on the floor! I had tears in my eyes as I watched this little miracle unfold. She amazes me constantly. She says mama, dada, and something that sounds like my dog. She has completely weaned herself from breast feeding, which is a bit bitter sweet. As soon as she found out she could drink out of her own cup she has to do just that. She loves to lounge in her little chair in the morning and watch her daddy get ready for work. She also REFUSES to have any help when she's eating so now daddy has his work cut out for him at bath time.

I'm doing a lot of personal development. Lots of audiobooks and Youtube videos on how to be positive and how that effects the people around you. I'm also working out on a semi regular basis. I'm using the app C25K, Couch to 5K, and I'm also in a group for 30 days to better arms. The Younique convention is Aug 1-3 in Dallas, Texas and PB will be visiting the Texas family while mommy is busy.

I have to say I am so thankful I joined Younique. Not only is it helping my family financially, it's making me better all around.

Late Night Rambles

I don't sleep well at night. Maybe it has something to do with me not being able to get up in the morning or maybe I can't get up in the morning because I don't sleep well at night. I usually go to bed with him but I can never seem to go to sleep. I always seem to lay awake listening to him snore. Man, he seems to sleep so soundly and goes to sleep so effortlessly. I laid beside him tonight after I had taken a long hot shower until I knew for sure he was sound asleep. I wanted to write. I wanted a cigarette. I wanted another drink. It's Called Foreshadowing For A Reason

As I've said before, Johnny and I ended up at my brother's at the same time last year. While chatting with Granny earlier today a story popped into my head I haven't thought of in quite awhile. A little background info, if you will: My brother and Wife have a little boy, Zeke, and this little boy loves his Uncle Johnny. Uncle Johnny has been uncle for way longer than we've been together. I like to joke that I had to marry back into my own family and the only way to do that was marry Johnny. It is quite interesting to go to the bar with my brother because he always introduces Johnny first as his brother, then me as his sister, then Johnny and I as married. And on to my tale: When I first saw Johnny play with Zeke the thought popped in my head about how wonderful he would be with his own children.
