Finally Got To Share My Baby Knowledge

Image
I know i said in my last post that I would talk more about Younique but I had an amazing conversation today I got a chance to share all sorts of knowledge I have collected. When it comes to babies I'm usually the one asking tons of questions. Not today though. My new friend is a young mother with an eight month old little boy. She wanted to know about feeding solids. This is something I have researched to the point I may not be able to find anymore information on it. I'm not saying I know what I'm talking about I just know PB is happy and healthy and her doctor has no complaints. This is what I shared with her. PB is on a semi strict schedule of when it comes to meals and naps. I use Pinterest and Lord Google for most everything I search so I was ecstatic when I found this awesome pic to use. I seriously reference it every day. Naps are usually 45 minutes long and unfortunately crying it out is the only way we have found that works to get her to sleep now that I qu...

A Recluse No More

I've been a presenter with Younique since March 28th. It's really helped me get out of the shell I created after PB was born. I knew I wanted to try direct sales and Younique looked interesting to me. I joined after seeing a friend of mine rocking the mascara. The Texan is my biggest support and after I made a couple random points on why and how I would go about selling he said go for it! I waited a whole week for my kit. It was the longest week ever. I'm one of the most impatient people when it comes to getting things started. My first customer got her order three days before I get my kit and that just made the waiting feel that much longer. When I finally got my kit I took a ton of pictures. First of the kit then of myself wearing the makeup. Yes, that much! After a few trial and errors on color combinations I picked my favorites and started rocking them everywhere. I made excuses to go places. I hadn't done that since PB was born!! My husband even told me sever...

Hi, Amanda!!!

My neighbor calls me Amanda. She's always yelling across the parking lot to say "Hi, Amanda". And when we chat she says it so many times, I feel like she's trying to convince me that that's my name. It's absolutely hilarious. No one can seem to figure out why she has chosen this name for me but she says it like I own it. I wonder what she thought after I handed her one of my Younique cards with my actual name on it... She's not the first person to call me by another name and actually believe it. The first time I met my father in law her said "Hi there, Shelly. I've heard a lot about you." The Texan and I had a blast with that and I had full intentions of letting him continue to call me Shelly until he figured out what my name really was. I know now I need to let Grandmother in on our little games so she doesn't correct anyone. i still wonder sometimes how long I would have been called Shelly had he not been corrected. I like to imagine i...
