Rocking The Sunscreen at the Beach

What a wonderful weekend! PB had her first day at the beach and is still worn out. Poor little thing loves adventure time but she doesn't realize she's still little. :) Living in Michigan combined with our Irish heritage our family is really white. I mean you should probably wear sunglasses to look upon us if we are outside. PB has the prettiest porcelain skin and I worry about taking her out in the sun. As I've mentioned before, I signed up as a Bzz Agent years ago. It's free to sign up and you get to test some really great products. My current campaign is for Coppertone Clearly Sheer sunscreen. My kit came with a 50 SPF spray and a 30 SPF lotion. Yesterday's visit to the beach was the real test of this product since I used the spray on PB. It worked amazingly! PB still has her pretty, smooth skin even this morning. Mommy on the other hand didn't put it on until well after the burning started and I'm a bit less white this morning. The smell of it isn't overwhelming and it didn't bother PB's sensitive baby skin. Applying it was so easy and we weren't covered in sticky sand like we would have been if we used the usual lotion sunscreen. This is definitely one I'm buying again.

A Quick Update

Well, it's been awhile but I'm really trying to learn as much as possible about this whole network marketing thing and how to balance it with being a mom and wife. I give myself a B-/C+. My house is a little more messy but PB and the Texan don't seem to be any worse for wear. PB is such a joy to be around so if I do have time to get any form of work done she is distracting me with how fast she is growing. Yesterday Princess Peanut Butter stood up out of her little chair and took four tiny steps before she sat down on the floor! I had tears in my eyes as I watched this little miracle unfold. Late Night Rambles

I don't sleep well at night. Maybe it has something to do with me not being able to get up in the morning or maybe I can't get up in the morning because I don't sleep well at night. I usually go to bed with him but I can never seem to go to sleep. I always seem to lay awake listening to him snore. Man, he seems to sleep so soundly and goes to sleep so effortlessly. I laid beside him tonight after I had taken a long hot shower until I knew for sure he was sound asleep. I wanted to write. I wanted a cigarette. I wanted another drink. When I got out of bed I checked on the little one then put on the clothes I was wearing earlier. Honestly, I've been wearing them for a couple days. They're pretty dirty but I just don't care sometimes. I need to do laundry tomorrow. I miss my washer and dryer. It's Called Foreshadowing For A Reason

As I've said before, Johnny and I ended up at my brother's at the same time last year. While chatting with Granny earlier today a story popped into my head I haven't thought of in quite awhile. A little background info, if you will: My brother and Wife have a little boy, Zeke, and this little boy loves his Uncle Johnny. Uncle Johnny has been uncle for way longer than we've been together. I like to joke that I had to marry back into my own family and the only way to do that was marry Johnny. It is quite interesting to go to the bar with my brother because he always introduces Johnny first as his brother, then me as his sister, then Johnny and I as married.
